Introducing The Band

Panjenix are a Turbofolk Trio from East Lancashire performing a mix of excellent self written material and alternate versions of Folk, Rock and Punk songs. They feature a blend of acoustic and electronic technologies to deliver an eclectic and entertaining performance featuring songs from Political/Social comment to love songs to comedy, which has been captivating audiences countrywide for many years. They are equally at home playing in Pubs and Clubs as they are playing large festivals and supporting big name bands like the Beat, The Damned and the Boomtown Rats to mention just a few.

The founder members Mark Fox and Ian Guy have been performing together for over 20 years and have both been in the music industry for over 35. They are now accompanied by vocalist Joanna Betts, adding new dynamics and broadening yet further the Panjenix Spectrum. As well as playing a wide range of instruments including Guitars, Bass, Harmonica, Mandolin, Keyboards, Banjo and Percussion they have honed their stagecraft over the course of thousands of live shows so that the banter in between songs is as much a part of it as the songs themselves.

This wealth of experience guarantees a professional approach and with quality equipment and expertise they can take care of business at almost any event. This means Panjenix are easy to deal with when working on in house or external rigs or are perfectly capable of running their own show in it's entirety, providing their own PA, lighting and backdrops. As if this wasn't enough Panjenix also organize and run festival events and have their own acoustic club at The Forts Arms, Claton Le Moors every Wednesday.
